Welcome
to the Academic Affairs Department of the Consulate General of Israel
in San Francisco!
We
cover high-school and college campuses from Northern California all
the way up to Alaska. We are pleased to provide you with the information
on current student activities and events available through the consulate.
We have something for everyone. Students passionate
about Israel as well as Israel student activists can get news
and policy updates on Israel and the Middle East, read our web
calendar of upcoming cultural events, and explore our comprehensive
list of web resources set up
exclusively for students.
One of the best ways
to explore Israel is by studying abroad at an Israeli University.
Most American universities have programs and partnerships with universities
in Israel. Check the Study
in Israel Guide (courtesy of the Jerusalem Post) and browse through
a list of Israeli
universities and other academic institutions on the web.
The Israeli Consulate's
Speakers' Bureau
provides students, faculty, and professionals with access to all the
speakers from the Israeli Consulate on various topics ranging from
the Arab-Israeli Conflict, Israel and the media, Israeli Economy,
Israeli History, and Israeli Culture.
