The Eco-Innovation International Conference, sponsored by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), as well as the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Prime Minister of Israel, was held on July 11-13 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
The convention featured opening speeches from the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the UNECE Executive Secretary Ján Kubiš. Panels at this event discussed the role of environmentally friendly technologies in the market today and the importance of the continued development of Eco-Innovation technologies in the public and private sectors.
Highlighted in this event was Israel’s successful development and integration of eco-innovation technologies in its marketplace. After the discussion panels, visitors were taken to various sites around Tel Aviv to observe some of the most advanced eco innovation buildings and technologies present in Israel today.
