Passport Renewal

 


A new passport is issued if a current passport is over 10 years old.

A new passport will be issued for a period of 10 years for an adult (over 18 years old) and 5 years for a child (under 18 years old).

In order to request a New Passport please provide or send by mail the requisite information:

  1. Old passport
  2. 2 passport photographs [2" x 2"]
  3. Passport Renewal Form - completed and signed
  4. Registration of an Israeli Citizen Living Abroad - completed and signed
  5. Payment:
    1. Adult: $50.00 cash or money order
    2. Minor (under 18): $17.00 cash or money order
  6. Return mail payment

In order to issue a passport renewal for a minor (under 18), both parents must sign the forms in front of a Consular employee or a notary public. Both parents must also submit their passports to the Consulate.
Be advised, a passport may be limited by several types of constraints including:

  1. Required personal information update (married, divorced, widowed).
  2. The citizen has not been to Israel for over 10 years.
  3. Military service.
