Notary Services

The Consulate provides authentication of signatures, declarations, powers of attorney notary, Certificate of Life, etc.

Be advised, the Consulate notary service only authenticates the identity and signature of the person signing. The Consulate does not provide legal documents nor is responsible for the content in the documents provided.

To that end, a person arriving at the Consulate in order to notarize a document must identify him/herself with a valid photo ID, e.g. passport. and sign the document to be notarized in front of the Consul.
For real estate notarizations, you must bring an ISRAELI ID.

We would like to emphasize that the Consulate does not provide copy services. If a person requesting notarization of a document does not have sufficient number of copies, he or she will be directed to provide more copies.

The Consulate requires 2 to 3 business days to complete notarization.
