A person who is requesting authentication of signature for a declaration must arrive at the Consulate in person. Prior to having signed the declaration, the consul will require the person(s) signing to take a vow of truth.
A person who is unable to read and understand a document will not be able to sign that document. To that end, the Consulate accepts documents written only in Hebrew or English.
When arriving at the Consulate to notarize a declaration please provide the following:
- Valid identification (i.e. passport)
- Original copy of the document
- A copy of the original document that will remain at the Consulate
- Payment: $11.00 per signature in cash or money order only
Note: If you require several copies of the original document, please provide your own copies. The Consulate does not provide copy services. |
